[Game Review] [Steam] Death by Game Show Available on steam Jan 22, 2016

Death by Game Show is a fighting game developed and published by the Oointah studio.

The game is just great. It is filled with small humorous details and specific references to American culture, but rest assured, you can play without knowing and understanding all these and take still a lot of fun.

Introduction to Death by Game Show

The story is set in the XXVI century. Droids are now the most numerous on Earth but also in the solar system.

You play a human and you call U.H. Wutt, which must mean something like Urban Hector Wutt. You are judged because you have been convicted, guilty of being too smart, guilty of being too clever and above all guilty of being too human! Indeed, what right do you dare to challenge the dominance of the robots?

For information, the rest of humanity is in his chair to play virtual reality games robots leaving the task of taking care of everything.

Like all humans of this world, you have robotic modifications. Yours is a robotic arm ... it will serve you well later.

The court offers rehabilitation, ie forgiveness and to get it, he'll have to participate in Death by Game Show (which can result in death or live in Death reality show).

The game can begin. You are on a stage surrounded by droids. Cameramen set you and the presenter warms the room full of robots and explains what you have to face round after round.

A few things around the game The video lets you discover that the first four levels of the game match the tutorial, then you tackle the easy levels and to progressively increase the difficulty. The game includes a total of 50 levels.

Your goal is simple. Must survive the attacks of red robots (they are robots who hate humans above all). To succeed, you have at your disposal ten robots with each having its own jurisdiction (defense, attack, bomber, air, etc.) and ten buildings for the defense side with towers of the game. You have to hold to the finish the shuttle back on stage.

My conclusion :

This game is excellent, original and full of good ideas. The music that accompanies it holds the road well, and not talking about the design is neat as anything.

The default, yes, there is also a fault, it is that there are many texts ... one wonders if it's important or not, and I assure you, it is possible to play without reading any this text.

Do you like defense games, you want to help the only intelligent human hair of the universe, you think you are stronger than the robots and above all, you want to have fun at a fair price?

I advise you not to wait and purchase on Steam on Death by Game Show ! Death by Game Show was released in late January 2016 on Steam (Windows, Mac and Linux).
